Life Force Energy: The Pulse That Runs Through Everything

Our chakras move the life force that keeps us alive.
Life force — prana, chi, ruh, mana, the God frequency — is the pulse of life moving through the universe. It does not belong to any one tradition, though every tradition has felt it and found words for it. It runs through each of us, through water and air, through trees and soil, through every critter and star and being. We can draw it directly from the universe, and we share it with each other in ways we are only beginning to understand.
Our energetic system draws from three main streams, which combine to form the life force we carry in our bodies.
The first is Earth energy — pre-formed and specific to this planet. This is not raw or neutral; it has already been shaped by billions of years of Earth's own becoming: its geology, its seasons, its living systems, its memory, its collective consciousness. When we draw on Earth energy, we are drawing on something ancient and particular. It grounds us in the most literal sense — it connects us to a specific place, a specific world.
The second is Akashic energy — unformed, pure potential. The Akashic field holds the living record of all experience across all beings in all times: every thought, every choice, every life. But it offers this not as prescription, but as possibility. Akashic energy arrives without shape; it is the raw material of what could be, available to be drawn in and given form through us.
The third is relational energy — what we receive and offer through our relationships with everything around us. Not only with other people, though certainly with them, but with places, with animals, with ideas, with the land beneath our feet. Like Earth's energy, relational energy is pre-formed - it is flavoured by the being who is sharing it with you. When you share your life force with others, it is likewise infused with your creative self. Every genuine encounter is an exchange of energy. We are constantly giving and receiving, whether or not we are aware of it.
These three streams combine. They thread through us. And the chakras are where that threading happens. This energy is expressed in everyday life. It expresses as emotions we feel, behaviors we exhibit, the energy we bring to our relationships, and the way we show up to the world.
